Calorie: unit of energy that measures how much energy food provides to the body

For every calorie consumed, you need a 1/2 teaspoon of water to burn!!! Intake is determined by serving size, calories per serving and the amount of servings!!!
You should consume - 15% of calories from protein -30% of calories from fat -55% of calories from carbs
Calories come from three major nutrients, carbs, proteins and fats
Your calorie intake is determined by your age, sex, weight and activity level!!!
Stay away from high calorie foods that contain low nutritional value (aka empty calories)!!!
